Obama took his presidential oath on 20th Jan. While millions of visitors and Obama supporters to the DC were witnessing his first oath and other billions were keenly listening to his inaugural speech on air, I was doing something slightly different. I was paying close attention to him trying to see whether he has some magic wand with him under his suit*. Though there were abundance of hopes raised with Obama and there are plenty alive even today, I was firm on day one that ‘Yes. This man can do the difference. The change. Much needed change but only if he has some kind of magic wand with him’ and that’s what I was searching for. I couldn’t find any with him then for a while I thought he must have left it at his home and I was wrong again.
The luster and glim glim of the greenback shown by US in long years of modern financial history was under deep doom and everyone was expecting anything to happen. News like job loss, cut pay stubs, the soaring lending interest rates, mails from credit card monsters are day to day affairs now. Newspapers agencies are booming with the same news making top headline every day and it has hit. The theory of 122120012 gathered more and more believers each day (http://www.december212012.com/). I watched this episode on discovery about all this and I was growing my faith in this theory each day I was witnessing. The day when almost every Indian engineer was dreaming of going to US and that was considered renowned success of life was all at the end today and to add on to the agony, gals are saying strict ‘NO’ to get married if the guy is working in US. Words like Bankruptcy, chapter 11, chapter 7, liquidation, out of business and many more bounced to the first page of dictionary from there previous alphabetic arrangement. To mend this all in line, to get shine back to dollar, to get wives to guys working in US we need a powerful magic wand. Is there any Harry Potter with such magic capabilities? Anyone there with Magic Wand?
I may sound little negative and downbeat but it isn’t crime to talk truth; not at all.
